About Us
The Mantis Mission:
To produce the best quality and best looking customized apparel • To go above and beyond for our customers, again and again • To reduce our environmental footprint through extensive recycling and reusing, energy conservation, rain barrel water collection and the exclusive use of safe materials.
How it all began:
Mantis Graphics had humble beginnings - essentially born from a love of the outdoors in Breckenridge, CO, going to Grateful Dead concerts, and of course, t-shirts. Founder Brad Robbins got his start working as the warehouse manager at Mountain Tees, where he started designing and printing his own shirts. Eventually, he and his future wife, Rachel Lepine decided it was time to head back to the east coast, and set up a small shop in Easthampton, MA in 1996. Mantis Graphics was born. In 2005, graphic designer/signmaker, Clay Crow, joined Brad as a partner in the sign division of Mantis Graphics. Clay and Brad are joined by Kim, head of sales and marketing, Chris, lead screenprinter and Ed handling our embroidery.
Community:
Local and global since the very beginning, Mantis has supported the community by sponsoring local sports teams, donating to non-profits and the arts, and rallying to support local environmental causes. As we reach the milestone of our 16th year in business, we can see how our business has grown from local to global by word of mouth and e-commerce sales, through our online presence.
